Privacy policy

Last updated November 1, 2026. This policy explains what information AlpharettaList.com ("Alpharetta List," "we") collects, how we use it, and your choices. Alpharetta List is an independent local publication and is not affiliated with the City of Alpharetta.

Information you give us

When you submit a form on this site, such as adding a business or submitting an event, we collect what you enter: for example your name, email address, phone number, business or event details, and any message. We use it to review and publish your listing or event, respond to you, and run the site.

How submissions are processed

Form submissions are stored privately. To keep the directory accurate and free of spam, business and event submissions may be reviewed automatically using an AI service (Anthropic's Claude), which may check publicly available information on the web. A person may also review any submission. Only approved business and event details are published.

What we publish

Business and event details you submit for publication (such as name, address, phone, website and description) may appear on the site and in search engines. We never publish the contact email address you give us on a submission form.
